CRONICA DEL PRIMER PARTIDO EN WALES

Sending-off proves decisiveLLANELLI finally got back to winning ways in a niggly affair that was turned on its head by the second-half dismissal of Aberystwyth's Sion James. The Seasiders opened well, with Reds' keeper Duncan Roberts forced to tip away a shot from Stuart Roberts, which fell at the feet of defender Aneurin Thomas who made no mistake.Roberts again tested the former Norwich gloveman with a stinging drive but Llanelli got back on terms when Jacob Mingorance finished off a neat one-two with fellow Spaniard Rudy Torres. The Black & Greens continued to pressure either side of the interval, with Jonathan Coates testing Roberts, although visiting keeper Richard Morgan needed to be on his toes to catch a Torres' 30-yarder.The dismissal of James left Morgan as the busiest man on the pitch with Torres missing a superb opportunity to put the Reds in front. But the pressure told from a counter-attack after David Burrows hit the defensive wall with a free-kick and Craig Williams rounded Morgan to score.Only a superb save from Morgan prevented debutante skipper Cipri Rodriguez from extending the lead and the home side also hit the crossbar
